“Exercise may reduce the risk of breast cancer”1 Dr. Melanie Bone
Exercise may reduce the risk of breast cancer by 30% to 40% compared to sedentary women.2 And a new study suggests that breast cancer survivors who both eat a healthy diet and exercise moderately may reduce their risk of breast cancer mortality by half.3 Survivors who exercise regularly may also lower their risk of diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease.
Dr. Melanie Bone, M.D., Fellow of American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists
Following Stage III cancer, a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, I committed myself to help prevent women from getting breast cancer and help every survivor live longer.
